Working Principle
The rail tamper machine is powered by a gasoline engine, which drives the oil pump and the vibration shaft respectively through V-belts. The high-speed rotation of the vibration shaft drives the eccentric block, generating excitation force by centrifugal force.
The high-pressure oil from the oil pump enters the lifting cylinder and the clamping cylinder through the directional valve, thereby driving each component to perform tamping operations such as rail clamping, rail insertion, and tamping.

Routine Maintenance
1. Check or replace the nylon bushings of the compression hammer and the clamping cylinder ears.
2. Use welding techniques to restore or reshape the pick palm to its original design size.
3. Filter or replace the hydraulic oil, and clean the hydraulic cylinder, oil tank, oil filter and oil pipes.
4. Replace the defective fasteners.
5. Restore the oil pressure to 5 to 6 Mpa.
6. Eliminate any oil leakage and replace the defective sealing rings.
7. Check and replace the track clamps.
8. Maintain in accordance with the specifications for gasoline engines.

1. Maintenance tamping of switches, guard rails, fish plates and other critical areas of switches.
2. It is suitable for backfill compaction after new line laying, middle/overhauling and sifting.
