Rail Tamper Machine

The YCD-32 hydraulic switch guide rail tamper machine is a highly efficient compaction equipment specially designed for key parts such as railway turnouts, guard rails and fishplates.

The rail tamper machine is driven by a Honda four-stroke gasoline engine and features large excitation force, high vibration frequency and stable hydraulic system. This machine features a compact structure and flexible operation, making it suitable for complex track sections and space-constrained areas. It can effectively enhance the compactness of the track bed and ensure the stability of the track's geometric state.

It is widely used in major and medium-sized repairs of railway lines, new line laying, and track bed compaction after screening. The rail tamper machine is an important device for ensuring the safe operation of turnout sections.

The rail tamper machine is powered by a gasoline engine, which drives the oil pump and the vibration shaft respectively through V-belts. The high-speed rotation of the vibration shaft drives the eccentric block, generating excitation force by centrifugal force.

The high-pressure oil from the oil pump enters the lifting cylinder and the clamping cylinder through the directional valve, thereby driving each component to perform tamping operations such as rail clamping, rail insertion, and tamping.

1. Check or replace the nylon bushings of the compression hammer and the clamping cylinder ears.

2. Use welding techniques to restore or reshape the pick palm to its original design size.

3. Filter or replace the hydraulic oil, and clean the hydraulic cylinder, oil tank, oil filter and oil pipes.

4. Replace the defective fasteners.

5. Restore the oil pressure to 5 to 6 Mpa.

6. Eliminate any oil leakage and replace the defective sealing rings.

7. Check and replace the track clamps.

8. Maintain in accordance with the specifications for gasoline engines.
