Application
1. Maintenance of railway turnouts
The rail grinder is suitable for grinding the rail heads of all kinds of turnouts, eliminating defects such as fat edges, fish-scale marks and peeling, improving the smoothness of turnouts and extending their service life.
2. Grinding of common rail heads
It is used for the contour repair of the rail heads of ordinary rails in trunk railways, station lines, dedicated lines, etc., to improve problems such as surface wear, scratches and crushing of the rails, and restore the best wheel-rail matching state.
3. Grinding of rail welds and joints
It can repair problems such as low collapse and misalignment of ordinary rail joints, improving the smoothness of train operation.
4. Rail defect repair
It can precisely grind local damages such as cracks, chipping and depressions on the surface of rails, prevent defect expansion and ensure train operation safety.
5. Maintenance of urban rail transit
It is applicable to the daily maintenance of urban rail lines such as subways, light rails and trams, and is especially suitable for operations in space-constrained areas such as stations and tunnels.
Maintenance
After the construction of each shift, clean the exposed linkage guide bar and transmission chain of the yaw manoeuvring mechanism; the transmission screw and transmission chain of the transverse moving mechanism and other components, and add mechanical lubricant to their sliding surfaces.
Every 20 hours of operation of the equipment to the external lubricant cups filled with grease not less than once.
Precautions for Operation
1. Operators must undergo specialized training before they can operate.
2. Operators must wear goggles and earmuffs.
3. The maximum allowable linear velocity of the grinding wheel must be greater than 35m/s.
4. Operations must be carried out in accordance with the engine safety manual and warning regulations.
5. Fuel can only be added when shutting down. When adding fuel, do not splash it onto the engine and muffler.
6. The feed rate of the grinding wheel should be moderate each time. Excessive feed can cause damage to the machine, affecting its lifespan and the smoothness of the polished surface.
